About ReadyForCanada

Who we are and why we built this.

Why this site exists

Most people applying for Canadian immigration are qualified. They have the work experience, the language scores, the education. What trips them up is the paperwork — specifically, the employment reference letter. It's one of the most scrutinized documents in the entire application, and most employers have no idea what immigration officers are looking for.

A letter that says "John worked here from 2019 to 2023 as a software developer" isn't enough. Immigration Canada needs to see that your duties match the official NOC description for your occupation — line by line. Most letters don't do that. Most people don't know they need to.

ReadyForCanada was built to fix that. We match your experience to the official requirements, write or review your letter accordingly, and deliver it back to you ready to submit — for $10.

What we do

✉️
Write employment letters from scratch
You give us your NOC code and job details. We write a letter that covers every required duty.
📋
Write letters based on your actual tasks
You tell us what you did at work. We map it to the official requirements and write around your real experience.
Review and upgrade existing letters
Already have a letter from your employer? We score it against the NOC duties and rewrite a stronger version.
📝
Write letters of explanation
Expired passport, employment gap, implied status — we explain the situation clearly and professionally for your immigration officer.

What we're not

We're not a law firm and we're not immigration consultants. We don't give legal advice and we don't manage your application. What we do is help you produce documents that say what they need to say — clearly, accurately, and in the format immigration officers expect.

For complex immigration situations, you should speak to a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) or an immigration lawyer. Our tools are built for people who are doing their own applications and need help with the documentation side.
